“Six For Two continues the format of Easy 8, but is scored for Soprano I and (optional Soprano) II. The music offers the teacher an option to have the students perform in unison…The stylistic variety makes this suite interesting. The first piece incorporates only three notes. Each succeeding piece adds another note until eight notes have been used. The rhythmic patterns go no farther in difficulty than dotted quarter notes and eighth notes. Students will really enjoy the final selection, “What’s That?” with its avant-garde sound effects.” American Recorder
